Terms of Service
1.Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iOS application "Maai" ("the App") and the related website provided by Remosia Co., Ltd ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.License
The App is licensed (not sold) to you under the Apple App Store "Licensed Application End User License Agreement" (EULA). We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for non-commercial purposes.
3.Plans
Maai is available under two plans:
- Free: No charge. Up to 2 counters. Includes all core features (Lock Screen widgets, iCloud sync, JSON export, etc.).
- Maai Pro: $1.99 / month or $14.99 / year (37% off). Unlimited counters, CSV export, Pro-only widget variations, Family Sharing supported (v1.1+). No free trial.
Prices may vary by region and currency. The actual price displayed in the App Store applies.
4.Auto-Renewing Subscription
Maai Pro automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel any time from your Apple ID account settings. Payment processing and refund handling are governed by Apple's policies; we have no role in either.
5.Family Sharing
Maai Pro is eligible for Family Sharing, allowing up to 6 family members of the family organizer to share Pro features (planned support from v1.1+). For details, see Apple Support.
6.Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, modify, redistribute, or resell the App or any of its parts
- Use the App for unlawful purposes, infringement of others' rights, or harmful content
- Violate the Apple App Store EULA
7.Disclaimer
The App is provided "AS-IS". We make no express or implied warranties, including warranties of completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or absence of errors. Times, intervals, and statistics shown in the App are intended for personal record-keeping; they are not suitable for medical, legal, financial, or other critical use cases.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data) arising out of your use or inability to use the App. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you have paid in the prior 12 months.
9.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website and inside the App. Continued use after the change indicates your acceptance.
10.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
